If I had a thyroidectomy and then finished it off with radioactive iodine and am now on total thyroid replacement meds. Do I still have a "thyroid issue" ? I've been doing the regular plan and seem to be doing alright. My bbt though is sometimes below 97. Seems like this plan wouldnot have an effect on the actual thyroid since I don't have one? Is the regular plan still okay?
